2 Car MVA With Overturned Truck I-295 Southbound 9/10/07
At approximately 11:00hours on September 10, 2007, Squad 91 and Rescue 32 were dispatched to Interstate 295 southbound for a MVA. While responding the accident was upgraded to a rescue assignment. Squad 91 was first due and discovered the driver was conscious and standing inside the overturned truck. Firefighters from Squad 91 extricated the victim by cutting the windshield off the truck. With assistance from Rescue 32, oil dry was applied on the roadway for a heavy leak of transmission fluid. After Rescue 32 plugged the leak, Squad 91's crew assisted B.L.S with packaging of the victim in the second vehicle involved. Crews became available at approximately 12:00hours. Photos Courtesy NBC10
